Hey yβall! I cannot believe itβs almost Octoberβ¦ Like what the heck! Today Iβm just going to fill ya in on some random life things so I hope I donβt bore you. π
I just completed a financial class at my church written by Rachel Cruze, Dave Ramseyβs daughter, called Generation Change. Kinda cheesy but I HIGHLY recommend it! Itβs designed specifically for high school and college students. Itβs made me think more about what Iβm spending myΒ Gods money on. So Iβm on a budget now. I know, how exciting! Is it weird that I find saving money fun? Okay yeah super weird. I will say buying these shoes would be so much more funβ¦ Sorry Dave!
I havenβt been shopping in like a month and Iβm getting a little stir crazyβ¦ (My wish list on Nordstrom is getting out. Of. Control.)
On to the next random thing, I graduated from a Prep School (shoutout to Wylie Prep!) and it was pretty challenging (sounds way more fancy than it is, lol.) I learned so much during high school. I learned how to organize, study, manage my time, take notes, and make genuine friendships. I figured that I was well prepared for college.
Boy, is college hard. While I am WAY more prepared than like 95% of my classmates, it is still difficult! It is not necessary the class subjects or material that are difficult, but rather how in the world am I supposed to get all this stuff done. Iβm taking 5 classes this semester (thanks to my older sister who took 5 classes a semester her entire college career AND graduated in 4 years AND graduated with honors. Why did you have to set the bar so high?!?) and itβs kicking my booty. Finding time to do homework, work, spend time with friends and family, and be involved in ministryβ¦ Lol. Itβs pretty comical.
I think I failed my history test yesterday. How does one, who has literally taken 6 years of American History, fail an American History test? I donβt know.
This adult stuff is hard! And I donβt even have many responsibilities. Iβve pretty much decided I just canβt adult.

Iβve been spending more time with my nephew, Ryder, over the past few months and he seriously makes me so happy. Three year olds say the cutest things! His new thing is telling me, βI love you to the moon.β My heart just about melts.

“Hey Nana, I look like a clown.” I can’t handle the cuteness, y’all.
Iβm headed back to NYC in November! AH. New York is easily one of my most favorite places to go! It is truly magical. Iβve never been in November so Iβm super excited! Iβve been to NYC several times but I want to try some new restaurants and shops this trip so if anyone has any suggestions you can shoot me an email or comment belong!
Last random thing, Iβm headed to College Station this weekend to see my bff, Kaleigh! Iβve never been to College Station so I hope itβs as great as everyone saysβ¦ (Iβll get back to you on that.)
Sorry to bore you with all my random life updates but I hope everyone has an awesome weekend! π
Always,
Hannah

Iβd love to pray for you! If you ever have a prayer request or question email me at thatotherhannahblog@gmail.com and Iβd love to help!
P.S. I canβt say sorry enough for my absence. I know everyone has busy lives so Iβm not even going to get in to that excuse. Instead Iβll just say that Iβve been living my life a little disconnected from the Internet. As Iβve said before, my family and relationships with people (in the here and now) are, at this season in my life, more important than a blog post. Sorry to my readers! π
