Happy Saturday! I had the most amazing time at camp this week! I am still overwhelmed with so many different emotions so I’ll be talking about camp in a few days. 🙂

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite summer outfits. Who doesn’t love a good jean short / floral top combo?! I unfortunately got this top a few summers ago from Kohl’s (LOVE me some Kohl’s #noshame) so I’ll link some similar tops. Just add some accessories like this Kendra Scott Necklace and these adorable wedges and BAM a easy summer outfit! I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend. 🙂

Sunday June 21st, 2015: Babydoll Top

Happy Sunday, y’all! I hope everyone is enjoying their Father’s Day. We celebrated my step dad last night because I leave for camp today. I am so so so excited for this camp. Each year my church takes a group of abused and neglected foster kids for a week of non-stop fun. I have the privilege of being a counselor this year! So it may be a little quiet on here for a few days but don’t worry, I’ll be back on Friday. So if you could keep me and our whole team in your prayers we would so appreciate it. 🙂

But on to the post! I was in Downtown Dallas a few weeks ago and I found this super cute boutique called Kettledrum Allie! They have the cutest tops and jewelry. I picked up the adorable top I’m wearing. Like I said in this post a few days ago, I’m loving the summer whites trend. Friday June 19th, 2015: Small Changes

Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing a few things I’ve learned about making healthier decisions. By no means am I a fit person. I don’t work out enough, and ~~sometimes~~ don’t make the healthiest food choices. But over the past few months I’ve been making better choices for my future health. So in those efforts, I’ve learned a few things!

1. Drink more water (out of a cute cup too!). I’ve learned that I honestly feel better when I drink more water. I have more energy and less tired throughout the day.

2. Get some cute clothes/ shoes. When you dress cute, you feel cute. Can I get an amen?

3. Get some sort of fitness tracker! I used an app called Argus for my iPhone for the longest time but recently upgraded to the Fitbit! I’m so glad. I’m excited to get some different colored bands to change it up, too!

4. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Have fun. Don’t be legalistic with it! Drink a Dr. Pepper every once in a while (but don’t get too crazy now 😉 .) Try a nature trail at your local park, too. A change of scenery is always good!

Again I’m no health nut, just wanted to share some things I’ve learned! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Wednesday June 17th, 2015: She Wears A White Dress

Happy Wednesday! When I tried on this dress I couldn’t stop singing White Dress by Parachute (my favorite band). So that may or may not have been the reason I bought this dress, LOL. Well I’m kinda obsessed with this dress! It’s full of details and so girly. I posted about it here a few weeks ago and I wore it to a graduation as seen on my Insta here. FYI, I bought these shoes a few months back at Nordstorm Rack and can’t find them online so I’m linking a few similar pairs. 🙂

Sorry for the inconsistency of my blog posts… I was in Los Angeles last week on a missions trip with my youth group. We had the opportunity to serve with the LA Dream Center. It was, by far, one of the best weeks of my life. I’ll be sharing more about that in the next few days, don’t worry! 🙂

Hi. 🙂 Sorry I’ve been absent for a few days! I came home from Mexico on Wednesday and left Thursday for a weekend at the lake. So I just wanted to share the last few pictures from Mexico today. I had so much fun in Puerto Escondido and I’m already trying to figure out my next trip. 😉 I hope everyone has a great weekend! Get some rest and love the people around you. 🙂

Wednesday May 27th, 2015: Shine Bright

When my sister said it was hot I believed her, but this is a total different hot than Texas. I can handle 105-degree heat because I know that I’ll have air conditioner. Mexico doesn’t have air conditioner. ANYWHERE. So basically I feel like Ross, on Friends, with his leather pants every time I use the restroom #fail. It’s bad y’all.

But don’t worry, the beauty and simplicity of the town make up for the horrendous heat. These photos were taken in the area of town called El Adoquin. This is the place to grab some souvenirs and just be a tourist… #unashamed. PS I hope y’all enjoy the sweat in some of these pictures!

Just got this dress and I’m obsessed!

I bought these shorts a few weeks ago and I LOVE them! They are a really great length, and not super tight on my thighs. #perfect

I tired these sandals on a few weeks ago in Nordstorm and I’m so sad I didn’t buy them! They are so cute and I really want a pair of gladiator sandals now…

I’ve had my eye on this bag for weeks and it just went on sale.. I may have to finally pull the trigger 😉 #sorrymom

I bought these sunglasses a few weeks back and I’m obsessed! I love pink and sunglasses probably more than I should. 😉

Who doesn’t love Kendra Scott?? These pink arrows are perfect.

And of course this polish is the perfect summer color! (color is Forget Me Kots)

For Christmas one of my closest friends gave me this sweater.. And it’s one of my favorites! Sundays are my favorite day of the week because church, food, and naps! Happy Monday! Yesterday was such a beautiful day! The weather was 70 so I got to wear sandals… 🙂 As much as I like the cold weather, I just LOVE the warmer weather. But today I’m sharing an outfit that is very typical for us Texans! We can’t wear thick sweaters because by noon its so hot… So I have to stick to layers and scarfs. I love the texture of the sweater mixed with the pattern of the scarf. Here’s to an awesome week! 🙂
